After completing his education at the “Domenichino da Piacenza Academy”,
in 2009 Riccardo Buscarini graduates at the London Contemporary Dance School.
Productive collaborations and international awards among which mark his path: danceWEB scholarship
(ImPulsTanz Festival 2010), Prospettiva Danza Prize 2011, Fare Anticorpi Foundation grant 2012,
ArtsCross London 2013, residency project Maroc Artist Meeting and Prove d’Autore XL 2015. In 2010,
he is one of the finalist at “The Place” contest, London, with his performance “Cameo” and in 2013
he wins “The Place Prize” with Athletes. Between 2013 and 2015, he takes part to the European Performing
Gender project. His new creation No Lander is now on tour.
Between 2011 and 2015, he has taught choreography at the London Birkbeck University and he
is now director of dance and improvisation workshops focusing on the semiotics of movement.
