With a background formation in martial arts and contemporary dance, in 2002 Manfredi Perego receives a scholarship
for the Isola Danza dance academy directed by Carolyn Carlson. He graduates at the Fine Arts Academy in Bologna
presenting his dissertation on choreographic improvisation. From 2004 to 2014, he is a performer in various
contemporary dance companies in Europe and Italy, and works with, among others, Simona Bertozzi and Damian Munoz.
Since 2013, he has started an “image compositions” research based on primordial movements, where sign,
space and graphic movements interweave.
In 2014, he wins the “Premio Equilibrio” in Rome with Grafiche del Silenzio (Graphics of Silence). His main aim
is the active integration of sport elements into his own choreographic research. He is a trainer and attends manifold
workshops both in Italy and outside Italy. Since 2015 he is supported by TIR Danza.
